Questions and Answers

Why is this day held on Feb. 6?
Washburn University was founded on Feb. 6, 1865. We believe there is no better day than a birthday to let someone or something know how much you mean to them and thank them for all they have done for you. This year, Washburn turns 154 years old! Happy Birthday, Washburn!
Can I make a gift before Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 and have it count?
Of course! Please visit our donation page, select "Day of Giving" as your reason for giving, and select where you would like your gift to be designated. If it's not in the dropdown menu, select "Other" and type in the project or area you are interested in. Your gift will be tallied with the gifts on the day and count in our overall total!
I want to create a match or challenge. How do I get involved?
