Travel for Health Policy Conference

The Graduate Student Nurse Association (GSNA) hosts an annual policy conference for graduate nursing students to attend. The conference has nationally-known experts on health care and health policy speak to the graduate students about potential health legislation. Graduate nursing students are informed of major legislative changes while networking with experienced and novice nurses interested in health policy.

Money raised toward this project will pay for travel expenses for our graduate nursing students to attend this important conference.

Can we raise $10,000 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. CT? Generous philanthropists and friends of Washburn, Ford and Catherine Ross, will donate up to $10,000 for every dollar raised during these two hours.

The Washburn University Alumni Association and Foundation Board of Trustees will generously match dollar for dollar all School of Nursing travel fund donations up to $1,250.
