The School of Nursing’s growth is an intentional process that provides degrees and programs to meet the needs of one of the fastest growing industries in America. Washburn established a baccalaureate nursing program in 1974 and created the School of Nursing in 1982. The master’s program began in 2005 and the doctor of nursing practice started in 2012.
