Over the past 5 years, the Kinesiology Department has worked diligently to update our majors, minors, and course offerings. We have majors in Exercise and Rehabilitation Science, Health and Fitness Promotion, Physical Education and Coaching, and Sport and Recreation Management. Our degree choices are popular amongst today’s students, and each aligns with our department's mission to engage students through study, experience, and research in all areas of health and human movement. Our focus remains on preparing our graduates for a career or for a professional graduate degree program.
Our focus for this year is to improve our departmental scholarship offerings. Your gift to the Kinesiology Scholarship fund will ensure deserving students receive financial assistance, allowing them to focus more on their education and less on how to pay for it. You can also consider a gift to the WU Moves Community Wellness Program or the Kinesiology Department Program Fund, which will help address immediate needs to enhance student engagement, course experience and improve available equipment in WU moves and across all KN majors.
