BECOME A KTWU STATION MEMBER
Licensed by Washburn University, KTWU is the PBS station for eastern Kansas with a broadcast area footprint covering 39 counties serving over 1.7 million people and ¾ of a million households. Today you can support KTWU’s community engagement efforts by becoming a station member through Washburn’s Annual Day of Giving. These activities include things such as character events, program screenings, clothing drives, and career exploration programs. Your gifts support our ability to continue providing your favorite content and community outreach and are more important than ever since federal funding of public media (which accounted for a third of KTWU’s annual operating budget) was eliminated back in July of last year.
