You've seen the Dr Pepper Challenge, where college students compete for tuition money during halftime of major college football games? This is the Washburn Kinesiology version. We're looking to raise $1000 in scholarship dollars to give away to a KN major who wins the yet-to-be-determined KN activity challenge. The challenge will be something like a 1/2 court cornhole bean bag toss, with students earning their bean bags by answering KN-related quiz questions. Three questions correct equals three bags, and then three attempts to hole a half-court bean bag toss. Each student who makes one of their bags become eligible for a "knockout" style cornhole match, which goes until one student remains and wins the challenge, with the scholarship as the prize. The specific challenge details, competition date, and fine print are still being finalized, but we believe it will generate excitement among our Kinesiology majors. Please consider supporting a fun and engaging way for students and faculty to interact outside of the classroom, and help one smart, skilled, and lucky Kinesiology major cover a portion of their tuition.

Donations to this project will support the Kinesiology Department Scholarship Fund
