The Passport Project removes one of the primary barriers to global experiential learning by funding the first ever passport for students accepted into a Washburn University Study Abroad program/
Studying abroad is among the most impactful educational experiences a student can have. It supports deep academic engagement, fosters transformational personal growth, and prepares students to contribute meaningfully to global society. Funding from this project supports first time travelers by covering their passport cost and enabling them to take the initial step toward achieving their international education goals.
Donations are directed to the Study Abroad Office First Passport Project Fund. By supporting the First Passport Project, donors help students begin international scholarly journeys that cultivate intellectual curiosity, academic confidence, and the development of future global leaders and changemakers.
