Bods Feeding Bods Food is Washburn University's food and commodities pantry. As part of of Harvesters Food Bank Agency Network, we serve Washburn students, faculty, and staff experiencing food insecurity. Items stocked in the pantry often include shelf stable groceries and hygiene products.
This would directly impact and address the issue of food insecurity among students, faculty, and staff. Many members of our community face financial challenges that make it difficult to consistently access nutritious meals, which in turn affects academic performance, work productivity, and overall well-being. By supporting the campus food pantry, this funding will help ensure that no one in our Washburn family has to choose between basic needs and their educational or professional goals. In addition to providing immediate relief through access to healthy food, the pantry fosters a sense of dignity, belonging, and care within our campus culture. Ultimately, this investment strengthens the Washburn community by promoting equity, improving retention and success rate, and reinforcing our shared commitment to supporting one another.
