Washburn University proudly hosts four fraternities and seven sororities, representing more than 290 undergraduate students. The Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) community has grown by 23% since the Spring 2025 semester, reflecting the excitement and value students find in joining these organizations. FSL fosters a strong sense of belonging and community, built upon the core values of scholarship, leadership, service, community, and campus pride.
Our mission is to enhance the college experience by helping students form lifelong friendships, develop leadership skills, and grow personally and professionally. Joining a fraternity or sorority provides opportunities to engage deeply in campus life, focus on academic success, and make a lasting impact through service and involvement.
