Our students are the heart of the Art Department, bringing dedication and innovation to their work as artists, designers, educators, and art historians. By combining traditional craftmanship with the latest technology, our studios foster an environment where students can refine their skills and develop their conceptual voice. Faculty mentors, internships, and students teaching ensure that all majors are prepared for professional success in a variety of fields.
We have been growing our departmental offerings, thanks to donors like you! Small, large, and matching gifts - all of these contribute to financially supporting our students and all media areas from ceramics to 3D Printing. Most recently, Day of Giving funds sent Art and Art History students to Italy for Study Abroad and equipped a new Art program devoted to Jewelry and Small Metals.
