Shawnee County Promise Scholarship

The Shawnee County Promise is part of a financial aid package called Together We Thrive. Together with merit scholarships, the Washburn Shawnee County Thrives Scholarship and other financial awards, the Promise creates a tuition-free path for students who meet certain eligibility requirements - either they are Pell Grant Eligible or demonstrate a household income of $75,000 in assets on their FASFA.

The Shawnee County Promise is renewable for students at Washburn University up to four consecutive years or until they complete your first bachelor's degree, whichever comes first, covering the cost of 30 credit hours in the fall and spring semesters.

Your support of this fund will help Washburn continue to offer this special program for financially eligible Shawnee County students and expand the eligibility in the future.
