Edinburgh Fringe Festival

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, is the largest theatrical fringe festival in the world. The summer 2025 trip and experience will allow students to create a show and perform at least four performances for an international audience. Students will also be able to see performances from artists who come from all over the world. The students are in Scotland for 12 days. In addition to performing and seeing shows, the students have the opportunity for cultural tours and the valuable experiences of international travel.

Gifts for this project will help to fund the travel of the students involved. For many students, the cost of the trip is unattainable without fundraising. The opportunity to travel internationally with an original show is an invaluable experience for students. Students from any major are eligible for this opportunity as long as they commit to the construction and collaboration of the show. The skills learned in creating and traveling with a show will give any student a new perspective on collaboration and teambuilding. Contributing to this project will allow students of theatre to practice their craft on an international stage and will also allow any student involved to see the world through theatre.
