The World is Yours: Supporting International Business Programs

Years ago, the School of Business embarked on a voyage to make global business understanding a hallmark of a Washburn education. From membership in the Magellan Exchange Program, which is a consortium of schools around the world that ease study-abroad obstacles for students; competing in (and winning) the Network of Independent Business Schools annual business plan competition; supporting Professor Michael Stoica’s intensive travel courses that combine students from Washburn, China, Brazil and Belgium into teams to work on real-world business problems; to new endeavors to help train and allow student to achieve the NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional; the goal of these efforts has been to prepare students so they compete with anyone in the world. One-hundred percent of your support for this program will be used to provide scholarships and offset direct costs to students who desire to participate in these international-focused learning endeavors.
