The Washburn University School of Law Dean's Fund for Excellence allows us to take advantage of opportunities and needs as they arise during a given year, such as student scholarships, program support and student initiatives.
The Washburn University School of Law remains very competitive with other institutions in terms of tuition, but the cost of obtaining a law degree is often outside a student's financial means. Scholarships can be the difference between being able to attend law school or not.
Along with a rigorous curriculum, scholarships can be the deciding factor in a student's choice of law schools. To remain competitive and attract highly talented students, we must increase the number of privately funded scholarship dollars available each year.
