Investing in Future Computing Professionals
The need for computing professionals is growing and diversifying. Currently, there are more high-paying computing jobs in the United States than there are graduates, and many of these positions are in emerging areas of computing requiring specialized skills. The computer information science department is ready to answer the call.
Exciting things are happening in our department. Washburn now offers associate and bachelor degree programs in these high-demand fields: computer information science, data science and digital forensics. With the new offerings, we are more committed than ever to making education accessible to more students. But to do so we need support from benefactors like you.
We are asking you to invest in the next generation of computing professionals with a gift to the Computer Information Science Department Scholarship. By growing our scholarship, we can reduce the financial barriers that prevent some students from pursuing a degree in computer information science. Help us provide the educational tools our students need as they look to make an impact in future computing.
Thank you for your support and please help us spread the word! Share this project on social media, by email and by telling your friends!
