Members of the student organization Called to Greatness Washburn are going to be on mission during spring break 2023 with our CTG network campuses from Kansas, Kansas State, Baker and Oklahoma State to serve and come alongside local organizations in Pensacola, Florida. We will partner with Habitat for Humanity and potentially with MANA Food Pantry, Open Books, Pensacola Caring Hearts and Child and Guardians to share the gospel and help those in need. We will build valuable life skills and connect with new and old friends to produce more leaders at Washburn and across our network of campus ministries. Our hope is to raise leaders who value the importance of serving and getting involved wherever God has placed them. We believe this trip will empower more students to make a difference on Washburn's campus.
Currently, the trip will cost students $500 per person. We want to raise $10,000 on Day of Giving to reduce this cost so more students can be a part of this exciting opportunity.
