Music on the Move – a John Deere Gator

The Washburn University Marching Blues are always on the move, performing and rehearsing throughout campus as we work to increase Ichabod pride. But we need a better way to transport our equipment to and from these events. We currently keep our equipment in White Concert Hall and the Garvey Fine Arts Center. We host several marching band competitions, rehearse and perform several shows throughout the fall with no good way of transporting our equipment to the field. Currently our students carry the equipment by hand.

We are raising $5,000 on Day of Giving to buy a John Deere Gator utility vehicle so we can move equipment efficiently and save on the time needed to prepare for rehearsals, performances and other events.
