Game Design: Making & Prototyping

In 2019, Washburn added a game design minor, which is housed in the mathematics and statistics department. A key course for this minor is Game Design, where students study existing games to learn strategies. Students also create their own games and in the past, they have presented them at conventions.

Your Day of Giving gift will fund the purchasing of existing games, conference travel to gaming conventions and supplies and tools to create pieces for original games.
