Poems Against Domestic Violence

We are once again producing an Ichabods Speak Out poetry anthology, this time with poetry against domestic violence. Jericho Hockett, associate professor, psychology, and Dennis Etzel, Jr., senior lecturer, English, are co-editors in selecting poetry from the Washburn and Topeka community to help break the silences domestic violence creates.

It is important to allow venues for helping survivors know they are not alone, and this book will serve as a physical presence of that help. It will also feature phone numbers of agencies who help serve survivors. Just like the previous Ichabods Speak Out, we feel we can't charge for a book like this. Your gift on Day of Giving will help us produce this book and give it away for free. For your thoughtful consideration in helping create our project, we will feature donors names in the book with deep appreciation.
