The World is Yours: Supporting International Business Programs

Years ago, the School of Business embarked on a voyage to make global business understanding a hallmark of a Washburn education. From membership in the Magellan Exchange Program, which is a consortium of schools around the world that ease study-abroad obstacles for students; competing in (and winning) the Network of Independent Business Schools annual business plan competition; supporting Professor Michael Stoica’s intensive travel courses that combine students from Washburn, China, Brazil and Belgium into teams to work on real-world business problems: to new endeavors to help train and allow student to achieve the NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional, the goal of these efforts has been to prepare students so they compete with anyone in the world. One hundred percent of your support for this program will be used to provide scholarships and offset direct costs to students who desire to participate in these international-focused learning endeavors.
