Saying Yes - Dean's Fund
Ensuring the Ability to Say Yes

A great idea without the means to take action remains just a great idea. Washburn School of Business students and the faculty members often come up with great ideas that need funding to make them a reality. Student organizations, or even individual students often want to explore business practices in more detail, and travel to major business centers like New York, Chicago and Silicon Valley is invaluable. Organizations want to hold special events featuring guest speakers. Faculty need a new piece of computer hardware and want to explore a new business software solution that they might incorporate into their course curriculum. The list goes on and on. The ability to say “yes” to a funding request makes all the difference, and an environment where yes is usually the answer means students and faculty can continue to be creative and dream big.

Gifts to the School of Business Dean’s Fund for Excellence allow the school to support an assortment of student and faculty activities. This year, multiple donors have generously agreed to match each Washburn Day of Giving Dean’s Fund for Excellence gift. So, each gift you make doubles the impact that you will have on our students and faculty. Help us say yes!
