Dept. of Chemistry

The chemistry department offers courses in all of the major chemistry fields, which are taught by experts in those areas. The department is certified by the American Chemical Society and offers majors in biochemistrychemistry, and forensic chemical science. Students have access to modern instrumentation and can collaborate with faculty in undergraduate research.

Gifts to the chemistry department program fund help with the purchasing of supplies and equipment for the laboratories and research opportunities for students and faculty. A robust department fund means more educational opportunities for students now and in the future. Your gift to chemistry scholarships will ensure deserving students get financial assistance so they can focus more on their education and less on how to pay for it.

Thank you for your consideration in giving to this important department on Washburn's campus!
