Study Abroad: Religious Diversity in Canada

Religious studies is doing its first-ever study abroad, an eight-day trip to Toronto and Montreal to visit a variety of different living religious communities representing traditions from around the world.

It's an incredible opportunity for religious studies students in Kansas to learn about diaspora communities in Canada, visit with their members and, ultimately, reflect on their place in the world.

While we have worked hard to keep costs reasonable, students will still probably face about $2,000 in costs for the trip. Not all of our students can afford that. Through all of our fundraising efforts, including Day of Giving, if we raise $5,000, that would lower the price for everybody by as much as $500.

Gifts to this project will support the Philosophy and Religious Studies Travel Fund.
