The high cost of course materials negatively impacts student success.
One proven solution is open educational resources - educational materials, such as textbooks, that anyone can use, modify and share at no cost. OER help drive down the cost of university attendance while simultaneously adding depth and creativity to the learning experience.
This project will provide 10 course redesign grants ($500 each) for Washburn faculty to help them replace traditional textbooks with OER in their classrooms. Your gift will help us increase the number of Washburn courses that students can take with no textbook costs.
Donations to this project will support the Open Educational Resources (OER) Fund.
