The IMA Student Leadership Conference changes lives. The conference brings students into direct contact with national leaders in business and accounting; in 2024 it was eBay, Georgia Pacific, Johnson & Johnson and more. Students learn about the latest trends in business and the accounting profession, gain insight into the journey from the classroom to the workforce and network with peers from across the nation as well as accounting, finance and data analysis professionals. The three-day conference includes local industry tours, large and small group sessions and networking events. And at least two Washburn students can trace their job after graduation to resumes they carried to the IMA Student Leadership Conference. The benefit to Washburn? New student leaders who share their enthusiasm with business majors and begin planning for attending the next year.
In 2025, IMA student conference will be a little less costly and a little closer in Cleveland, Ohio. Your donations this year will allow us to send even more students!
