Auris Stethoscope
The SON is raising funds towards the purchase of 5 Auris Stethoscopes. The stethoscope allows the faculty to program a sound and then when the student uses it, they are able to hear the recorded sound through the stethoscope. The stethoscope helps the student to be able to distinguish normal and abnormal sounds. They also help better prepare students to be able to hear these sounds on patients they are caring for in the clinical setting. The stethoscopes can be used for health assessment and simulation. The stethoscopes are controlled by an app.
