The Heartland Council of the Institute of Management Accountants sponsors a Student Leadership Conference for students in accounting, finance, and information technology at colleges in the Kansas-Oklahoma-Arkansas-Missouri region each year.

Regional

This year, the conference is on Saturday, April 18, 2020, noon to 6 pm at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

The School of Business would like to send 16 students to this conference. Students hear keynote speakers on current topics in accounting, finance and technology and participate in workshops to develop skills in leadership, career development and successful transitions from school to work.
